Back in the Hospital, Part II / Day Twenty-Six

Mike is in room 3717 at IU hospital.  Tonight they are going to do a few x-rays and tomorrow morning a CT scan of the abdomen and pelvis.  They are also going to draw more blood and run tests.  His blood pressure has come back up and his temperature is normal at the moment.  He is very weak and is experiencing an increase in abdominal discomfort.  We don't know yet if this is just a bug, if he is dehydrated and his fluids are out of balance, or if it has to do with the liver.  We are glad he is back in the hospital where they can monitor his condition constantly - it brings a certain peace of mind, even for Mike, although we would obviously prefer he was at home and feeling better.  Please continue to pray for him and for Karen, who has endured so much and has been so patient and caring and strong during this time.

Just checking in and very sorry to read Mike is back in the hospital. We hope this is not a major set back and that he will be back on the road to feeling better and back on the road to recovery. Keeping the entire family in our thoughts. Mark and Kim Werner

Glad to hear they are closely monitoring and taking action. The hospital sounds like the best place for you right now.

Karen, my prayers are with you as well! I can't imagine how tired you must feel but know you have TONS of support.

Miss you both.
Love,
Barb
